Set during Miami's prestigious international art convention, Blood of Aphrodite follows Mariella and her best friend Victoria, whose lifelong bond was forged through shared trauma and strengthened by unwavering loyalty. As influential collectors, wealthy patrons, and powerful figures within the art world are transformed into grotesque works of art, the two women uncover a hidden network of exploitation operating beneath wealth, prestige, and cultural influence. Together, they must confront the scars of their past while deciding what justice truly looks like.
Blending slasher horror, noir mystery, and psychological drama, Blood of Aphrodite is an original fictional story inspired by the publicly documented patterns of abuse surrounding Jeffrey Epstein, his documented inner circle, and the contemporary art world in which he collected and operated. By weaving these real-world influences into a fictional narrative, the film explores trauma, institutional complicity, and the resilience of survivors.

As the writer and director, and as a survivor myself, I made a commitment from the very beginning: The survivors in this film are fictional. Their experiences are written from my own perspective and informed by well-documented patterns of grooming, coercion, trafficking, and predatory behavior that have been exposed across countless real-world cases.
This film is not interested in recreating abuse. It is not interested in voyeurism. It is not interested in turning someone else's trauma into spectacle. Its purpose is to protect victims while exposing the systems that protect perpetrators. It examines the power dynamics that allow abuse to flourish, the ordinary people and institutions that enable it, and the uncomfortable reality that evil is often far more mundane than we want to believe.
Blood of Aphrodite is about reclaiming power. It's about telling a story that honors survivors without ever taking ownership of stories that are not mine to tell. This film is made by Survivors for Survivors.
